Working ideas to create 2 dimentional images for t-shirts from the wonderful sculptures by Curvature Sculpture.
a logo to compliment the free form curves of the art; "I like how you incorporated the words together and re-use 'ture', it makes me think of recycling for some reason..."
showing off the purity of 'Grace' - I took photographic inks and mixed them on watercolour paper to suggest the glazes used on other works.
'Grace' stylised, with a reworked background using more of the glaze.
I was very taken with 'Squashed Mother' - but struggled with how to make whole image image work in 2D - this crop was my favourite.
A variation of background for 'Squashed Mother' - I love the way the child is the focus of attention - just like real life.
I love this image - the flow of the sculpture still 'zings' the 3D roundness. Yet will work perfectly as a t-shirt design.
Using the glaze from 'Grasp' as background - the piece 'Twisted' contemplates the patterns.
